Description

For organizations that would like to develop in-house expertise in designing eRooms, this course is for you.  Led by a Senior eRoom Consultant, this 4-day workshop prepares you for delivering your own eRoom Design sessions.  Many skills are required to excel in this service, such as an in-depth knowledge of eRoom, facilitation skills, writing skills, web design skills, and understanding ambiguous business processes.  Specific topics include:

  • How to prepare for an eRoom design session: ensuring you have the right people and process scheduled
  • How to "level set" the audience with an common understanding of eRoom and its capabilities, and why this is valuable for an eRoom design session
  • Review of the typical timetable for an eRoom design session and how to adjust "on the fly" to accommodate particular needs
  • Gathering the requirements from users: what to expect and what to strive for
  • Managing the session: facilitating group dynamics
  • Building the eRoom: what to do yourself and when to include others
  • Incorporating best practices into the eRoom and the process of deploying the eRoom
  • Ensuring the completion of the eRoom or creating a plan of action
